The requirement to undertake Fire Risk Assessments is given extra muscle by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

With the emphasis now firmly on fire prevention the new regulations effectively pass on the ownership of Fire Safety in working premesis, from the Fire Service to the Responsible Person.

This nominated person will be required to have a Fire Risk Assement undertaken by a Competent Person and then take steps to reduce or remove any risk.

Electrical Testers Assesors are trained by F.P.A and are also Qualified Electrical Inspectors of the Fire Safety systems, Emergency Lightings BS5366 and Fire Alarms BS5839. Which must be inspected and maintained to the respective standards.
